A. One mile. It is located in the mountain community, so you do not have to sit in traffic to get to and from the base. You would make a left at the end of our street onto West Hill, then another left onto Upper Cross Road. The base lodge is at the end.
Q. How far are you from the Jackson Gore base lodge?
A. Two miles via back roads. You can avoid Town traffic by going to the old base lodge, cutting behind it and traversing a short way over to Jackson Gore.
Q. Is there a pool and gym nearby for public use?
A. The Spring House (at Jackson Gore Base): It is $12/day. There is a gym, racketball courts, classes, pool and hot tub. There is also a nice firepit just outside the lodge if you walk through the lobby and exit the other side. They will light it for you and you can have cocktails/hors de ouvers served to you out there. We love that spot.
Q. Do you take dogs?
A. We accept dogs who are house friendly and do not sleep on furniture for an additional pet security deposit. Please clip your dog's nails before coming as we have hardwood floors.
Q. Is the house available for X dates? What is the cost?
A. No!! The Fabulous New Log Home has 2 pack-n-plays, 2 booster seats, one high chair, a toddler potty, an infant bathing tub, a toy box, books, videos for all kid ages (including very young), Nintendo gaming system with 3-12 year old games and XBOX for the older kids. The Delightful Ski Chalet has a pack-n-play, videos and games. We can arrange for any of the other things above.
